Founded in 2009 as a small business within a family organization, our story begins far beyond this year, because our career has always been developed within the tourism sector and in different countries. Our experience has always been based on tourist accommodation in either area of beach or city, which led us to understand how much freedom could feel a person having holidays in a rented apartment using ad pages for rentals through the newspapers.
Never in our holiday period we choose to spend our holidays in hotels, on the contrary, we wanted to get away from them, visiting cities, no queues, not feeling the pressure of the times for breakfast, lunch or dinner, we wanted to feel free, totally free.
We had no doubts to call directly to the owners asking if they had availability for a few days in the city that we had chosen to spend our vacation, we feel like Independent Travelers, not feel Tourists mass, no matter how big it was our environment.
We liked it, and we like, tour the city on every corner, get up when we want without being touched at the door by the issue of cleanliness, and if we do not want breakfast, don´t wake up, as if dinner at 12 pm ... we liked, we like and will like this freedom.
It turns out that there are people out there looking for accommodation where they can feel the same, where the independence and the fact of being free, meet all expectations of a vacation, or a simple disconnected in the middle of a business trip....sitting on the couch and turn on the television, watch the news, reading the newspaper on the terrace without animation or advertising noise of the big mass Tourist places, there are many more people than we thought.
What began as a relationship between us, apartments of friends and friends Customers, has become a network of websites where everyone is welcome, where enthusiasm for the freedom to travel each day makes contact Clients Owners and everyone benefits from all this experience, a way to travel easier and cheaper than mass tourism and tour operators in high volume hotel occupancy, has become a place where we are no longer a tourist, we're an Independent Travelers.
